International Day of Holocaust Remembrance: New Music Studio Terezin

Conductor Murry Sidlin, founder and president of the Defiant Requiem Foundation, provides an overview of about twenty composers who created a great deal of music at Terezin, the model ghetto/concentration camp established by the Nazis outside of Prague. Sharing recorded examples of these works, Maestro Sidlin reveals music of longing, fate, hidden messages, eye witness, and pure entertainment, heartbreak and memorial.
